On The Job Training
Employees are trained on the job. Each position will have a hands on audit written specifically for that position. The employee and the trainer are signing off on the audits until training is successfully completed.
To promote and encourage job and personal enrichment, we offer financial assistance for external training and education. Our tuition reimbursement program is made available to any full-time employee who has been with us for at least one (1) year of service.
Skilled Trades Training
PMX has partnered with Kirkwood Community College to offer a Trainee program for second year students enrolled in the Industrial Maintenance Program. Once a candidate is selected, the Company and the Trainee enter into an agreement. The Trainee will be paid for regularly scheduled shift hours which includes time at school. Upon completion of the program, PMX will reimburse second year tuition, books and fees and the Trainee will become a full time Skilled Trades employee.
While placing a high value on personal and professional growth, and by utilizing internal training and community resources such as Kirkwood Community College, MRA and others, PMX Industries offers ongoing leadership and technical development for its employees. PMX also provides our managers and supervisors with people leadership training, designed to help with communication and relationship building. Tuition reimbursement opportunities are also available for approved courses of study.
